It works in four areas: Magnetic Creative (aircraft interior and exterior design and manufacturing), Magnetic Assets (engines, landing gear and parts), Magnetic Maintenance (line and base maintenance and engine repair) and Magnetic Talents (engineering, CAMO and EASA Part-147 training). Its 700+ professionals work in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.magneticgroup.co\/locations\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">locations around the world<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The challenge<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Magnetic Group started with a clear aim: better interpersonal relationships, communication and teamwork in every part of the business. Their internal trainings had five goals:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Self-awareness.<\/strong> Help people understand their own preferences and tendencies.<\/li>\n\n<li><strong>Communication.<\/strong> Teach people to adapt how they communicate with each DiSC style.<\/li>\n\n<li><strong>Team dynamics.<\/strong> Build understanding and appreciation between team members.<\/li>\n\n<li><strong>Leadership.<\/strong> Give C-level executives the insight to adapt how they lead.<\/li>\n\n<li><strong>Conflict and problem-solving.<\/strong> Give people strategies for differences between styles.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What they did<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Magnetic Group ran internal trainings on the <a href=\"\/en\/everything-disc-catalyst\/\">Everything DiSC\u00ae Catalyst\u2122<\/a> platform. Their own consultant completed our <a href=\"\/en\/disc-certification\/\">DiSC certification<\/a>, so the sessions are run in-house by someone who knows the model well.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They started with the C-level executives. Tailored sessions helped these leaders understand their own style, use their strengths and adapt how they communicate with very different people.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They then took DiSC to other levels of the organisation, with the content adjusted to the roles and needs at each level, so every group worked on the communication and teamwork questions that mattered to them.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The results<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Feedback has been <strong>overwhelmingly positive<\/strong>. Participants describe the programme as practical and eye-opening. Leaders who understand their own style and their team members&#8217; styles adapt their approach, delegate more effectively and build stronger relationships with their teams.
