Everything DiSC® Productive Conflict

Three benefits of the report
01
Know your conflict styleHow you behave when you disagree, and how others experience it.
02
Catch destructive reactionsThe automatic thoughts that turn a disagreement into a fight, or into silence.
03
Choose a better responseHow to step back, reframe your thinking and keep the conversation productive.
What the report covers
The report is built from each person’s own answers. The assessment adapts: if answers are inconsistent, it asks extra questions, so the result is precise.
- Your DiSC conflict style
- Destructive and productive conflict behaviours
- The thoughts that drive your reactions
- How to reframe and respond differently

“We judge ourselves by our intentions
and others by their behaviour.”
Stephen M.R. Covey, The Speed of Trust
Where Productive Conflict works best
Teams with friction
When disagreements turn personal or people avoid the difficult topics altogether.
Management teams
Make open disagreement safe, so better decisions come out of it.
After a reorganisation
Help new teams deal with the tension that change brings.
Conflict and communication training
A personal, research-based core for the programme.
Reframing a destructive reaction
The profile works with a simple model: a conflict triggers an automatic thought, and the thought drives a destructive response. Change the thought, and the response changes with it.
Automatic
A colleague criticises your proposal in front of the team.
“This isn’t my fault.”
Defensiveness. You justify every point and stop listening. The discussion becomes about you.
Reframed
A colleague criticises your proposal in front of the team.
“Some of this may be useful. What exactly is the concern?”
Curiosity. You ask one question, accept the valid point and agree on what to fix.
How the profile fits into a session
Before
Everyone completes the assessmentOnline, in 15 to 20 minutes. The facilitator reads the reports and plans the session around the group.
During
A facilitated sessionPeople read their own report, compare conflict styles and practise reframing on real situations from their work.
After
Follow-upThe team agrees a few ground rules for disagreement. A short check-in after four to six weeks shows what has changed.
On its own, the report builds awareness. Behaviour changes in the conversation around it and in the follow-up. We can connect you with a certified DiSC trainer from our network, or prepare your own facilitator through certification.
Additional reports for teams and facilitators
Ask for these when you order. Team View, the Group Culture Report and Comparison Reports help a group see the bigger picture. The Supplement for Facilitators gives certified practitioners in-depth insight into each person’s results, for individual feedback and coaching.
Team View
One page that shows the DiSC style of everyone in the group. A good starting point for a team session.
Group Culture Report
Shows the group’s shared culture, its strengths and blind spots, and how it shapes decisions and risk-taking.
Comparison Report
Compares any two people: where they are alike, where they differ and how to work together.
Supplement for Facilitators
For certified practitioners: the detail behind each person’s results. Most useful for individual feedback conversations and coaching.

About Everything DiSC® Productive Conflict
Is it only for teams in open conflict?
No. It is just as useful for teams that avoid conflict. Unspoken disagreement costs as much as loud disagreement, it is only harder to see.
Does it tell people who is right?
No. It focuses on how each person reacts to conflict and how they can respond more productively, not on the topic of the disagreement.
How much does it cost?
Tell us how many profiles you need and we’ll send you a quote. New clients get 10% off their first order, and certified partners get up to 25% off, depending on their partner level.
Do I need to be certified to order?
No. Anyone can order Everything DiSC® profiles. Certification helps if you want to run DiSC sessions yourself and get partner pricing.
Who sees the results?
Each person receives their own report. Whether a manager or HR sees the reports is up to you, and we recommend agreeing on it before the assessment. We sign a Data Processing Agreement with every client organisation.
