The challenge
Schneider Electric wanted to develop teamwork skills and create an even more inclusive work culture. In remote work there are fewer face-to-face moments, so people need a faster way to understand each other and build connections.
They decided to offer DiSC assessments and training to all employees, in every department. DiSC helps managers understand their teams and helps team members communicate more effectively. When a new project team or working group forms, people can build their cooperation on an understanding of each other’s differences from the start.
What they did
Each team was introduced to DiSC in an internal training, where they discussed what their team profile means for communication and collaboration.
After that, employees kept using DiSC on their own. Managers met with their team members, and colleagues met with each other, to agree how they would communicate more effectively.
